At the Milton Lutheran Church we seek to foster community through faith, love, and service.
We strive to express our faith through an active presence in our community by service, worship, and fellowship that is open to all.
It's through God's grace that we are given the gift of faith. It's with this gift that we strive to love God and love our neighbors in all that we do.
We believe that each of us are created in the eyes of God. Shaped and molded into the people God wants us to be. We are all God's children and we are intentional as a community to welcome all people regardless of their background.
With over 200 years of history tradition is a big part of who we are. We also seek to discern how God is calling us to respond to the needs of the world we live in. We are an open-minded group of people who welcome new ideas, encourage creativity, and support people in using their gifts.
We recognize that everything we have as individuals and a congregation comes from God. With this knowledge we work to be good stewards of all that God has given us- our time, our gifts, and our resources.
Being a part of a community is something we all seek. It's not always easy, but we know that God wants us to be in relationship with one another. At MLC you will find a group of people who are genuine, at the same time- sinners & saints, love each other, support one another, laugh together, and cry together.
We are a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church and are grounded in scripture and the teachings of Martin Luther. For more information about the basic tenants of our faith, Click Here.
We believe that God has created each of us different from one another. God is at the center of everything we do, say, and experience. As a community and as individuals we believe in the free gift of God's grace and we respond to that gift by seeking to love others in the same way that God loves us. We know we aren't perfect and we don't get it right all the time, but we do strive to live into that grace each day.
We follow the life, teachings, and miracles of Jesus. Grounded in scripture we seek to live a Christian lifestyle that challenges us to be followers of Jesus in all that we do. We also believe that it's important to share our faith with others, not only by what we say, but also , by what we do. Our actions reflect of beliefs and our beliefs reflect on actions.
