Small Groups

Our grief support group meets on the last Monday of the month at 6:30 P.M. This group we do in partnership with United in Christ Lutheran Church and Christ Lutheran in Lewisburg, and is led by our Pastors. Our focus is on providing support for people who are grieving the loss of a loved one. The location rotates between the two congregations. 

Our choir blesses our worship with music throughout the year. They meet on Sundays following worship in the choir room and are led by our music directors. We welcome singers of all ages and experience levels. 

Our praise band leads our contemporary worship throughout the year. They meet at the convenience of the group and are always looking for new musicians to join the team! 

Our bell choir practices on Wednesday nights at 6:00 P.M.  in the choir room. They grace our worship with song a couple times each month at the beginning of worship and other special events. People of all ages and experience levels are welcome. 

Our pub theology group meets on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 7:00 P.M. at the Arrowhead Restaurant & Bar in Milton. We join for open conversation about faith and life, have time of fellowship, food, and drinks. 

Our hiking group gathers at different times during the month to enjoy the beautiful scenery that the surrounding area provides. They hike a variety of different places, with varying difficulty/distance. Everyone is welcome! Often the group gathers for a meal and/or drinks after the hike. 

Our Movers & Shakers Group meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 10:30 A.M. in the fellowship hall. This group is especially for seniors in the community. Each month the group listens to a speaker/presenter or participates in an activity together, plays bingo, and shares a meal together. 

Our youth group is for teens in grades 7th-12th. They meet on the 2nd Sunday of the Month at 6:30. This group is done in partnership with United in Christ Lutheran Church in West Milton and Christ Lutheran in Lewisburg. The group participates in a wide variety of activities, service projects, events, and discussions throughout the year. 

Our ministry teams are our leadership teams that make all of the ministry at MLC possible. Volunteers and staff meet regularly to plan ministry opportunities for our community. We have several teams at our church including: Worship, Outreach, Fellowship, Property, and Digital Ministry. We are always welcoming new volunteers to serve on these teams! 

The young adults of Milton Lutheran Church meet once a month to hang out and get to know each other, aiming for a blended experience to include those who are living in the area as well as those who are away from home.

Fidget Quilt is a group where we gather to make small, lap quilts with fidgeting items on them for people who have Alzheimer’s to keep their hands busy.

We are looking for people to help who are willing to cut, sew, and generally lend a hand to our creating of these quilts.

We gather on the first Wednesday of every month from 1pm until 3pm.

 Faith Lab is a new initiative from United In Christ (UIC), Milton Lutheran Church (MLC), and Christ's Evangelical Lutheran Church (CELC) working together to provide programming for students across our congregations and larger community. Each month we will gather for Bible study, games, crafts, and a free family dinner sponsored by the host congregation!
